I have been working in the advertising film production industry for 18 years.

I am 40 years old and live with my husband and my two sons (ages 11 and 4) in Hamburg - Eimsbüttel.

​

It all began at element e as a production assistant, where I also completed an apprenticeship as an audiovisual media clerk. I was fortunate to gain extensive practical experience - whether working as a runner on set, casting for projects, or finding mood references for DIs, I was fully involved.

​

After my training, I moved to e+p Hamburg as a PA. After four months, my boss noticed me giving feedback to a director on his DI and promptly promoted me to sales rep. In this role, I learned how to scout directors and acquire agencies and clients. However, my heart was always in producing, so I returned to the production side and worked my way up to producer.

​

After the birth of my first son, I joined BLM, where I could perfectly combine my two passions - sales and producing. I loved acquiring agencies, finding the right directors, and producing projects.

​

A year later, I received an offer from FoxDevil Films Berlin to set up the Hamburg office together with Glenn Bernstein and his directing partner JJ Keith. Looking back, this was the best time of my permanent career: was able to help shape and build the company, recruit directors, and win new agencies and clients.

​

After five years, and with the birth of my second son, I moved to 27km as a director scout. However, after a year and a half, I realized I missed producing. It was also the right time to become my own boss and take the plunge into freelancing.

​

For the past year, I've been working as a freelance creative producer and director scout and look forward to many new challenges and exciting connections.
